An access permit is required any time a homeowner or contractor crosses city-owned land with any type of equipment or vehicle in order to access private property. Any damage to city-owned land is to be returned to its original condition.

What is the Cost of an Access Permit?FreeAn Access Permit is a non-refundable fee of $65.00. A damage deposit may also be required of $750.00. You can drop off or mail your Access Permit with your cheque payment to the Waterloo Service Centre. All cheques must be payable to the City of Waterloo.
