Manser Residence, London
The original kitchen in this bungalow home was worn out and patched
together in a layout that wasted space and restricted function. As a
remedy were moved a wall between the kitchen and dining room, and
relocated a stairway to the basement. Old plaster on the walls and
ceilings was replaced with drywall, and the floor was covered with a
quality vinyl
product.
The new oak cabinetry was made at a custom height to fit
the 10
foot ceiling. The countertops were made with a plastic laminate
surface,
and a solid surface front edge. The project included the replacement
of the
kitchen window and exterior door, and was completed in two weeks.
